The Fix Is In: The Showbiz Manipulations of the NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL and NASCAR delves deeper into the dark underbelly professional sports than any other book has ever attempted. Covering greedy owners, coddled players, PEDs & drugs, criminals, and for the first time ever in any book, a complete list of all the known fixed games and incidents of players & owners gambling throughout the history of American  professional sports. The Fix Is In sheds light on the cozy arrangements between the television networks and the major sports leagues. It will prove to you that professional sports are nothing but a spotlight-craving, show business industry and its owners are more concerned with turning a profit than winning championships. It details what's been fixed, how it was done, and most importantly, why.
Larceny Games: Sports Gambling, Game Fixing and the FBI. Based on over 400 previously unreleased FBI files obtained exclusively by the author  via the Freedom of Information Act, this book was intentionally snubbed by the sports media. If not for being the focus of a New York Post article, Larceny Games may have gone completely unrecognized despite revealing the names of the Hall of Fame NFL and NBA players known by the FBI to have gambled upon their own respective sport and on games in which they played. The book provides the intimate details of those who have thrown games for the benefit of gamblers as well as why and how the sports leagues have covered-up these incidents.
A Season in the Abyss: Sports Gambling vs. the NFL's Integrity. Football and gambling: the two activities are inseparable. Yet if wagering threatens the NFL’s integrity as it claims, then why does the NFL openly embrace the gambling taking place in fantasy football? Is the league clandestinely working with legal and illegal bookies? Why are referees constantly making calls that seem to benefit Las Vegas? I spent the 2014 NFL season doing exactly what it is the league claims it doesn't want its fans doing -- gambling on its sport in all its forms -- to learn the true relationship between the NFL and gambling.  "A fresh but dispiriting spin on an old sports story: money corrupts—and lots of money corrupts absolutely." - Kirkus Reviews
The Fix is Still In: More Corruption and Conspiracies the Pro Sports Leagues Don't Want You to Know About. In this long-anticipated sequel to The Fix Is In,  the truths all sports fans need to know are further revealed. Based on dedicated research and previously unreleased FBI files, each chapter exposes sports in a manner none of the major leagues’ broadcast partners would dare attempt. No sport or league is spared as The Fix is Still In rips through not only the likes of the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL and NASCAR, but also the PGA, UFC, eSports, horse racing, boxing, and both NCAA football and basketball. Along the way, championships are revealed as frauds, referees are exposed as accomplices, and legends are demolished.
Disaster Government: National Emergencies, Continuity of Government & You. Citing directly from the official Top Secret government documents on which it is based, Disaster Government is no conspiracy theory.  The book covers Presidential Executive Orders, martial law & the Posse Comitatus Act, FEMA and its history, USNORTHCOM and Presidential Emergency Action Documents.  Also detailed is the odd world of the secret underground bases and relocation sites built across the country to protect our officials in the event of a national emergency. Shockingly, hidden within these secret cities is an unelected shadow government ready to assume control should our elected officials be killed in a terrorist attack or nuclear war. The scary part is: It's all true.

ABOUT BRIAN:

Brian Tuohy is America’s leading (only?) expert on game fixing in sports and is recognized as a scholarly authority by the United States Supreme Court (seriously). He has written for the likes of Vice Sports, Sports on Earth, Bleacher Report, History Magazine, Paranoia magazine and worked with the Center for Investigative Reporting to produce an article for Sports Illustrated. He has been a guest on over 200 different national & local radio programs and podcasts, and has spoken at Florida State University, the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State University and Columbia College Chicago. Despite all of these accomplishments, the national sports media by and large ignores his work.

He currently resides in Wisconsin. He'd tell you more about himself, but he's not very trusting of the internet.
